Kathryn’s interest in becoming a Dental Hygienist was firmly established when she visited the practice for work experience many years ago. Kathryn then went on to qualify as a Dental Nurse at the Birmingham Dental Hospital and was awarded the Oral B prize ‘Dental Nurse of the year.’ 

After gaining experience as a Dental Nurse working on The Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine, Kathryn went to Cardiff University and graduated as a Dental Hygienist in 2008. She was awarded with the Glaxo Smith Kline prize in ‘clinical excellence.’ 

Following graduation, Kathryn has acquired significant experience in treating and preventing gum disease. She was delighted and honoured to join the wonderful team at New Road Dental Practice in 2013.

Kathryn is passionate and enthusiastic within her job role. She is quick to ensure that each of her patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship. Kathryn’s empathetic nature ensures her patients feel comfortable in the Dental chair. 

During her time at New Road Dental Practice, Kathryn has built up a loyal patient base, encouraging and inspiring patients to reach and maintain optimum oral health.

Kathryn is a member of The British Association of Dental Therapists, The British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists and The British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.
