Knowing when to seek urgent dental care is important for your oral health. The following cases are real dental emergencies and need to be treated as soon as possible.
- Anything that indicates infection, such as extreme pain, swelling, or bleeding.
- Having one or more teeth knocked out of place due to an accident or injury.
- Developing large cracks or chipped areas on the teeth’s surface.
Other dental problems still need to be treated by a dentist, but they can usually wait for a day or two.
